| Abstract | New records of water mite of the family Torrenticolidae (Acari: Hydrachnidia) from hillstreams of the Garhwal Himalayas (Northern India) are presented. Monatractides garhwaliensis is described as new to science; first records from India are given for Torrenticola semisuta (Halik) and Torrenticola cf. turkestanica (Sokolow). |
