Systematics, Diversity, Biogeography and Ecology of Hydrachnidia, mainly from the neotropic region
1. Present Project:
    • Systematic, zoogeography and ecology of latinamerican Torrenticolidae Piersig, 1902 (Hydrachnidia, Acari)

    • (grant from the foundation Pro Acarologia Basiliensis, Basel)
    2. Planned Projects in the future:

    • further studies on the neotropical 'primitive' Limnesiidae (Proto-/Rheolimnesiinae; Tyrrelliinae, etc.)
